Our Team
Mark Ostdiek
Mark began his career with insurance and financial services at John Hancock Financial Services in 2005. During his first few years at John Hancock Financial, he earned accolades of Conference Qualifier for outstanding sales achievement and national recognition in an industry benchmark publication.
After five years with John Hancock, in 2010, Mark left that firm to join his father at JD Ostdiek Insurance where he currently specializes in both group and individual insurance markets. Mark is fully certified with a Health and Life Insurance License and also certified for Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Long-Term Care Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Annuities.
Mark is an active member of the Catholic Professional & Business Club in Fresno and also an active member of the Padrinos Guild for Valley Children’s Healthcare where he has served on the board.
He also enjoys time outdoors on the golf course, bike riding, and growing berries in his garden. He is happily married to his wife, Felicia and together they enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and relaxing at the coast.
Nicholas Ostdiek
Nick has worked in the Insurance and Financial Services industry since graduating from California State University of Fresno with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Nick started his career in 1997 as an Advisor with John Hancock Financial Network. In 2010, he built an independent insurance and financial services firm. Now after two decades in the industry, Nick has decided to join his brother Mark and oversee J.D. Ostdiek Insurance, Inc.
Nick is experienced in creating solutions that meet the needs of all his clients from individuals to small and large companies.
Nick is an active member and past board member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and The Greater Madera Kiwanis Club. In addition, he currently serves as a board member for Transitions Children’s Services and is a Member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports such as basketball, tennis, or golf and baking his famous chocolate chip cookies, aka Nick’s Chips.
Christine Carlson
Christine is a customer service representative who started with J.D. Ostdiek Insurance in 2005. Christine assists with Group Employee Benefit operations. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with family.
Corrie Castro
Corrie is a customer service representative with J.D. Ostdiek Insurance since 2022. She has 8 years experience in the Medical Field and Medical Customer Service. She is here to assist you with your Small Group and Large Group Benefit enrollments, Medicare Supplement plans, and can assist with your medical claims. When not working she loves to spend time with her family and travel.
